Poster Design Process

ritual-poster-6

I like this poster, however the writing is too dark for the background making it hard too see. I think I will change the colour of them writing to white.

rituals-2-poster

I like this one as well but again it has the same problem as the first one. if I change the colour of the writing then this will be a contender for the final poster.

rituals-3-poster

For this one the writing is too dark and the channel four sign is in the wrong place and it is all too close together.

rituals-4-poster

I like this one a lot but I am not sure if the information is too close together and not spread out. this is a contender for the final poster

rituals-poster-5

I think that this one is too dark and the writing needs to be changed to white.

rituals-poster

in this one I like how i have put the word ritual slanted so it looks semicircle to the skateboard. The only problem with this one is that the channel four logo is in the wrong place.

rituals-white-3

I like this image a lot nut maybe change the colours round so the writing is back and the logo is white or just put it all as one colour. this is a contender for the final poster

rituals-white-4

I like this however I think that the channel four sign is too close to the skater and the writing so it is in the wrong place.

rituals-white-5

I like this one a lot. the positioning is good but I am not sure about all the writing and logos being the same colour. this is a contender for the final poster.

rituals-white-6

The information is too close together.

rituals-white-7

Information is to close together.

rituals-white-8

The placing is good but the colours are wrong.

rituals-white-10

I like this one a lot, the colours and placing is good. This is a contender for the final poster.

these are all the posters I have made so far, I will continue to edit the ones that I think came out good and make the ones I didn’t like so much better.

JAWS VS LYON 25

This is a video of pro skater Aaron “jaws” Homoki,  trying to perform an ollie on a 25 stair set. An ollie is a jump performed without the aid of a take-off ramp, executed by pressing the foot down on the tail of the board to rebound the deck off.

The video is filmed with a long lens and not in the normal fish eye that is so common in skateboarding. There are clips from his past attempts at the start and footage of him and the skate and film crew in other places. This gives the video a documentary feel.

There are several different cameras and angles for when he is trying the trick and for when he is just talking about it. There are even interviews with other members of the crew on what they think about him trying the trick and what they say about how it is going. All together there were 5 people filming, from different angles. In the end he lands the jump.
